About the Conference

The Kildare Biodiversity Conference is organised by Kildare Wildlife Rescue (KWR) in partnership with Kildare County Council and supported by the Local Biodiversity Action Fund from the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.

This conference is a significant milestone in the efforts to promote biodiversity, conservation and collaboration in Co. Kildare.

The event, held annually at the Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge, offers a platform to individuals, organisations and groups, engaged in the area of biodiversity in the county and beyond.

The main purpose of the conference is to foster collaboration among the attending groups and it aims to emphasise the importance of networking and collective efforts in addressing the challenges facing biodiversity conservation.
