The inaugural Kildare Biodiversity Conference in 2023 was organised by Kildare Wildlife Rescue (KWR) in partnership with Kildare County Council and supported by the Local Biodiversity Action Fund from the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.
This conference marked a significant milestone in the efforts to promote biodiversity, conservation and collaboration in Co Kildare.
The event, held at the Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge, offered a platform to individuals, organisations and groups, engaged in the area of biodiversity in Kildare.
The main purpose of the conference was to foster collaboration among the attending groups and aimed to emphasize the importance of networking and collective efforts to address the challenges facing biodiversity conservation.
